Physical Fitness Test

Physical Fitness Test

1. 1600 Meter Running

In the physical test, the candidate has to give the running test first. A 400-meter track is made in the ground, in which the candidate has to do 4 rounds continuously, it is very important to pass the running test because without passing the test candidate cannot do further tasks.

A candidate has to complete 1600 meters of training in 5 minutes 30 seconds to pass this test and the running time period has been divided into two categories, in which each category gets different numbers, whose information is given below in the table

2. Pull-Ups

After the running test, the candidate comes in the pull-up test in which he has to do 10 pull-ups and only 6 pull-ups is required to pass this test.


3. Zig-Zag Balance

Jick Jack Balance is a part of Physical Test’s in which the candidate has to go through a curved track and it is also very important to pass this test.

4. 9 Fit jump

In this test, the candidate has to be taken out of the 9 feet pit, which is required to pass out, but no marks will be added in the total marks of physical test.

Medical Test

After passing the physical test, the candidate comes to the medical test where his entire body is examined, if there is any small problem in any of his body parts, then he is referred to the Army Hospital and after receiving a clean chit from the Army Hospital. He is considered qualified in the medical test .after which he can take the admit card for the written exam. Candidates have to satisfy all the points given below to pass the medical test.

  • Candidate should not have any kind of disease like hydrocele, Piles and varicocele, etc.
  • The candidate’s chest will develop and have a minimum expansion of 5cm.
  • Candidate should be able to read 6/6 Distance Vision Chart with each eye. Should easily recognize red and green colours, Colour vision ought to be CP-III.
  • Candidates should have a sufficient number of health germs and at least 14 dental points.
  • He should have good physical and mental health, also have a good physique.
